BNB Chain officially announces that the Fermi hard fork upgrade will be officially launched at 10:30 AM on Wednesday.

This update includes many core improvements: block generation speed has been compressed from 0.75 seconds to 0.45 seconds, an increase of nearly 40%. Final transaction confirmation times have also been significantly reduced, generally to around 1 second.

For on-chain interaction experience, this is a tangible optimization. Faster block production and confirmation speeds mean reduced transaction latency and improved user experience. Such good news often stimulates market participation. Some see this upgrade and think about increasing their holdings; today they added another $20 position—this subjective move also reflects the market's optimistic attitude towards improvements in on-chain infrastructure.

If you're interested in the performance improvements of BNB Chain, the market performance before and after this hard fork activation is worth paying attention to.

0.45 seconds block time? That speed is indeed impressive, but we'll see its true effectiveness when it actually becomes usable. Let's see if the Gas fees will drop accordingly—that would be a real improvement.

0.45 seconds block time? If this really stabilizes, I need to quickly save up the gas fees and invest a bit more.

Hard forks might just be another round of cutting leeks on the day of the upgrade. To put it nicely, it's "optimizing the experience," but in reality... let's wait and see.

0.45 seconds block time? That speed is really possible, but I'm just worried it will be just another hype and then fade away.

0.45 seconds, wow, this speed is really impressive, but can it withstand the TPS of a bull market? I'm a bit worried.
