To talk about recent disruptors in the blockchain storage sector, Walrus Protocol's approach is indeed quite interesting.

The core gameplay is not complicated: using erasure coding and blob storage technology to fragment data, dispersing it across multiple nodes, which reduces costs and makes single-point censorship impossible. This approach, once implemented on the Sui chain, provides a truly viable solution for scenarios like enterprise data archiving and Web3 content distribution—compared to centralized cloud services that can freeze accounts at any time, its censorship resistance is a real selling point.

Speaking of the token $WAL, it's not just hype. Governance voting gives holders a voice, and the staking mechanism is thoughtfully designed—participating in validation allows sharing of protocol fee income. This makes it more than just a speculative asset; it becomes an active participant in ecosystem development. Plus, with private transaction features, users can hide transfer details to meet privacy needs.

Currently, Walrus is still in the stage of feature iteration and ecosystem expansion, with partners gradually increasing and community enthusiasm rising. From the perspective of storage infrastructure, projects like this have considerable potential. If you're looking to get involved, now is still a relatively early entry point.

The erasure coding approach is indeed impressive. Compared to those bragging storage projects, Walrus truly speaks with technology. However, for $WAL to really take off, it also depends on whether the ecosystem can keep up. The current buzz is there, but what about user retention? The layout on the Sui chain is good; now it depends on whether a killer app will emerge later.

The erasure coding technology is indeed powerful, and distributed storage makes censorship impossible... But can $WAL really break out?

Anti-censorship + privacy combo确实戳到点子上了,比某些大厂良心多了 --- Wait, staking sharing protocol fee income... isn't this a disguised PoS? The risk still depends on the quality of nodes --- Infrastructure projects on the Sui chain, it's not too late to get involved now, just worried that subsequent iterations may not keep up with expectations --- The $WAL governance voting part is interesting, definitely more reliable than those pure capital pool tokens --- No matter how good it sounds, it still depends on real user data in the ecosystem; otherwise, it's just another speculative project --- Erasing the idea of encoding sharded storage is fine, but is the cost really that much lower than centralized cloud services? --- The privacy transaction feature sounds great, but I'm just worried that one day it might attract the attention of some government... --- Regarding node validation and rewards, what’s the minimum investment threshold? Hopefully not another way to cut the leeks --- I'm optimistic about the storage track, but whether Walrus can truly scale into practical applications remains a question --- Now entering the "leading" position... I've heard this term on many projects, but what was the result?
