X-RAY has only accepted cryptocurrency payments in the past two weeks. While this aligns with Web3 ideals, it undoubtedly limits the participation threshold for creators. The good news is that the app has officially opened credit card payment channels.
This adjustment took quite some effort to implement. The team initially tried to integrate Stripe but discovered later that it does not support registration in Taiwan, forcing them to look for alternatives. Ultimately, LemonSqueezy was chosen as the payment gateway, successfully opening up fiat currency recharge paths.
This iteration marks an important upgrade in the app's usability — retaining the option for crypto-native users while opening the door to mainstream users. The diversification of payment methods often determines how far a Web3 product can go.

To be honest, the two weeks of pure coin payments really discouraged a lot of people. Now that fiat currency is available, it's finally reliable.

Wow, finally supporting credit cards. I really couldn't understand why they insisted on only accepting coins before.
This is the right way. Both crypto and fiat need to be accepted to survive longer.
Stripe's ridiculous regional restrictions are truly outrageous, but LemonSqueezy's choice isn't bad.
Web3 products, to put it simply, still need to stay grounded. Purest ideologies can't handle the market.
True inclusiveness is the way to go, isn't it?

Finally added a credit card, the past two weeks were pure torture.
