Bitcoin's emergence wasn't random—it was born from necessity. When the 2008 financial crisis hit, many witnessed firsthand the collapse of institutions like Bear Stearns and Merrill Lynch. That's when Bitcoin arrived, offering an alternative vision for finance built on decentralization rather than institutional trust.

History has a way of repeating itself. Fast forward to 2022, and we saw another major crisis shake the crypto world with the FTX collapse. These moments remind us why Bitcoin and decentralized systems matter—they exist precisely because traditional finance and centralized platforms can fail catastrophically.

History keeps repeating itself so much that even after FTX blew up, people still trust centralized platforms --- Honestly, the cycle from 2008 to 2022 is a bit desperate, have we ever truly awakened in the middle? --- Decentralized systems are important, but even exchanges haven't escaped from scandals... --- Still the same point: if you don't have your private keys, then the coins aren't yours, you'll never truly own them --- Seeing FTX makes me laugh. Where's the promised self-custody? Turns out, people still get scammed --- Bitcoin is fine, but how many people actually hold their coins? Most are still being exploited --- Cycles... there will always be newcomers stepping in to take the fall, and history just repeats itself

Really? I lost a lot during the FTX wave. Now I only trust Bitcoin. Centralized platforms are collapsing one after another, and people are still gambling? LOL From 2008 to 2022, I’ve learned lessons for so many years, but it was all for nothing. History doesn’t repeat itself; it just reinforces copying. Decentralization is the way to go. There’s nothing to argue about on this point.

History really likes to repeat itself. If you ask me, Bitcoin should have been all-in on from the start. That incident with FTX really broke my confidence; centralization is the original sin. In 2008, Merrill collapsed; in 2022, FTX blew up. Honestly, this cycle is a bit 🤖. The path of decentralization is definitely the right one, but retail investors are always the ones getting cut. Another project relying on institutional trust has failed; how are people still not waking up? Bitcoin was invented to combat this kind of garbage system. If I had known earlier, I would have gone all-in. Centralized platforms one after another are collapsing; maybe this is the true purpose of Web3. To be honest, the big players in the crypto world are all one big scam, and Bitcoin’s simplicity actually looks more sophisticated. Periodic crises are inevitable. When will the next one come? Just waiting to buy the dip.

History never teaches lessons; the same script from 2008 to 2022 is still playing out. --- That wave of FTX was really satisfying; centralized hype finally got exposed. --- Honestly, these institutions deserve it. Bitcoin has been waiting there all along. --- Is decentralization really the only way out? I don't think so... --- Every time there's a crisis, someone calls out, but most people are still betting on the next centralized project. --- The story of Bitcoin's birth never gets old, but the reality is so ironic. --- Wait, is there something wrong with this logic? Why do we always have to wait for a collapse to understand?

History is just a cycle, and the FTX incident indeed taught us a heavy lesson. Centralization can never be trusted; you still need to hold the keys yourself. Since 2008, not much has changed... just renamed as "innovation." Decentralization is not a utopia, but it's better than living on your knees. Only after being cut again did I realize why Bitcoin was born— isn't that quite ironic? Traditional finance is "stable," so stable that it collapses together. FTX made many people realize that if it's not your coin, don't expect it to last. It's already 2024, and people still rely on institutions... it's really time for reflection. Decentralization isn't perfect, but at least no one can steal your dreams.
