Deepgram has completed Series C funding led by AVP, raising $130 million, with the company’s valuation reaching $1.3 billion and total funding exceeding $215 million. Participants in this round include existing investors such as Alkeon and Tiger Global, as well as new investors like Twilio and SAP. CEO Scott Stephenson stated that this cash flow-positive company aims to accelerate growth through this funding and highlighted the increasing widespread adoption of speech AI in call centers and other fields. Deepgram currently serves over 1,300 institutions, plans to expand globally, and enhance multilingual support. Additionally, the company acquired Ofone, an investment from Y Combinator, to promote the application of speech AI in the food delivery industry, aiming to improve customer interaction experiences in the sector.
