I've been thinking about building something similar. Sending crypto to friends shouldn't be this complicated. What if we could simplify it?
The real pain point? Current solutions are clunky. You need wallet addresses, setup hassles, and multiple steps just to get someone their tokens. There's gotta be a better way.
Here's what I'd want: shareable claim links that work through text messages or direct messages on social platforms. Imagine sending crypto the same way you'd share a Spotify track or a meme. No wallet knowledge required from the recipient—just click, claim, done.
It would be perfect for onboarding newcomers too. Friends get their first crypto experience without the technical friction. Low barriers, high adoption potential.
The infrastructure exists; we just need someone to connect the dots between social messaging and blockchain transactions. It's definitely a move worth exploring.

NGL, this idea really hits the pain point. Transferring coins is such a hassle now.
Exactly, the goal is to lower the threshold so that ordinary people can participate.
Someone should have done this a long time ago. The infrastructure is already in place; it just needs a smart person to connect everything.
Agreed, combining social and on-chain solutions is definitely worth trying.

That's right, issuing tokens is indeed a nightmare right now.

To be honest, this idea sounds good, but it feels like one of those "looks simple but actually complicated" things.

To be honest, the wall of wallet addresses needs to be broken down; the barrier is too high.

To be honest, this pain point really hits the mark, but it doesn't seem like a new idea.

ngl, this idea has actually been thought of before, the key is whether we can truly deliver a good product experience

To be honest, this idea really hits the mark; the wallet address system really discourages people.

To be honest, this is just a false demand. The trouble with wallet addresses is nothing compared to the real issue: on-chain gas fees.
