The essence of encryption is the establishment of a "trust system that requires no trust." In comparison, the fundamental characteristic of AI at this stage is still a "statistical black box" driven by massive amounts of data — essentially something that needs to be trusted but is unknowable.

The two may seem contradictory, but in fact they are complementary. Interestingly, there are teams trying to explore this intersection. Their goal is to build a bridge between the transparency of encryption and the intelligence of AI, enabling true integration of decentralization and machine learning — which may open up new possibilities for Web3.

Basically, it's still the same old problem. Why do you trust a black box? Cryptography at least allows you to verify, while AI relies purely on luck... Combining these two is indeed something new.
