Tonight at 9:30 PM, the US December CPI data will be released. This data will have a significant impact on the upcoming market trends.

According to forecasts from major institutions, the overall CPI may increase by 0.3% month-over-month and 2.7% year-over-year. Excluding volatile items like food and energy prices, core CPI performance is similar—0.3% month-over-month and 2.7% year-over-year. Although the Cleveland Fed's predictive model suggests a slightly lower figure (core CPI month-over-month 0.22%), the mainstream Wall Street view still believes that the inflation cooling momentum is not strong enough.

This directly influences the Federal Reserve's actions. According to CME Group data, the market currently widely expects the Fed to keep interest rates unchanged in January, with a probability of 95%. In other words, everyone is betting that the Fed will not cut rates in the short term. This will also have a ripple effect on Bitcoin and other crypto assets—after all, interest rate policies are the core variables affecting risk asset pricing. While paying attention to this data, also monitor the market's immediate reaction after the release.

The Federal Reserve is determined not to cut interest rates, so Bitcoin will continue to be suppressed.

95% chance of no rate cut, which means the crypto market just needs to wait a bit longer.

95% chance of no rate cut, so are we going to stay sideways until the New Year?

The Federal Reserve is really heading for a hard landing this time, with interest rates staying fixed. How will the crypto world play along?

Time to stay up late again to check the data. Is this damn CPI really that important? If the Federal Reserve doesn't cut interest rates, I'll just go to sleep. Anyway, there won't be any big movements in the short term. There's a 95% chance of no change, but what about the 5%? I'm just worried about hitting that 5% risk. After the CPI is released, will the crypto market go crazy again? I'm overwhelmed. Feels like we're all being hostage to data. When can we stop watching this stuff? Are interest rate policies really that powerful? Then I need to pay close attention.
