Still find it funny when I think about it—so many projects in the crypto space start by seeking funding without even having a decent user base. But then again, that's the flavor of crypto—its logic is just a bit different.

On-chain data shows that the contract deployment time for these types of projects is often half a month earlier than the funding announcement. The interesting part is that the funding rounds don't match the actual TVL at all, as expected.
