Elon Musk recently shared a somewhat controversial view: traditional retirement savings methods may soon become obsolete.

In a recent interview, he bluntly stated, "I suggest to everyone, don't bother saving for retirement 10 or 20 years from now. By then, this approach will have no real meaning."

This perspective sounds a bit unsettling. Most people have been taught since starting work to save for the future, and the importance of retirement security has been emphasized enough. But Musk's logic seems to imply something—perhaps technological advancements will fundamentally change our understanding of money, work, and retirement?

Regardless of your opinion, this viewpoint at least gives us a perspective to consider: in an era where AI, automation, and new economic models are rapidly evolving, do traditional wealth management strategies really need to be reexamined?

Elon Musk's rhetoric is just for listening, really all in without saving money? What about risk awareness, friends? --- Wait, is he suggesting that the UBI era is coming? Or just making bold statements to attract attention... --- Traditional pension systems indeed have issues, but telling ordinary people "don't save money" is just ridiculous. --- Is he hinting at the Mars colonization plan? By then, Earth's pension system will indeed be meaningless. --- This guy always does this—first drops a big bomb to grab attention, where's the specific plan? --- Basically, it's a gamble on technological development. If you win, everyone’s happy; if you lose... I’d rather keep saving money. --- AI and automation have indeed changed the rules, but when it comes to retirement, planning ahead is still necessary. --- So, are we all supposed to live on UBI? That’s wishful thinking. --- Typical Musk style—grand narratives with a touch of apocalypse, but it doesn't really help ordinary people. --- If what he's saying is true, then the money I’m saving from working overtime now... never mind, I don’t want to think about it.

This guy just doesn't take the usual route when he talks... but on second thought, he's not entirely talking nonsense? In the era of technological explosion, sticking to traditional savings methods does seem a bit silly. --- Elon Musk is up to something again, this time directly denying retirement savings. But honestly, he has a point—given how uncertain the future is, who knows if the money ten years from now will still be worth anything. --- He dares to say that haha, but the problem is, we have to live, right? Save money or wait to drink northwest wind? --- That viewpoint sounds great, but most people don't have his capital, so they still need to save. Let the rich folks tinker with the new economy. --- Suddenly, I feel that what he said about the AI era changing everything might not be empty talk. It's just that we can't see through it yet. --- Stop blindly following the trend, everyone. No matter what Elon Musk says, if you have no savings and no confidence... that's the real issue. --- Damn, is this logic hinting that UBI is coming up or what? Let me think again...

Speaking of Elon Musk, this guy really dares to say that, but upon reflection, his words actually imply a certain logic — either technology directly makes the concept of money obsolete, or we all have to survive through mining and on-chain assets, haha. It's basically a bet on the future. Anyway, saving now also depreciates in value, so it's better to go all in on technology and Web3. Thinking this way, it's better to stockpile some mainstream coins and NFTs now, and when AI truly explodes, you'll win. Wait, he might be aiming to push Twitter Pay and Starlink's financial system? This guy is definitely paving the way for himself. Artificial intelligence is really coming, and traditional financial management indeed needs to be redefined. Our generation might truly witness a revolution.

nah he's basically saying UBI + AGI flattens the savings thesis... but like, the inefficiency vector here is people still need liquidity buffers rn lol

Elon Musk's words sound impressive, but honestly, isn't he just blowing smoke? Why is traditional retirement suddenly meaningless? Are we really relying on AI for retirement? Haha --- UBI is coming, right? So saving money now just means paying an IQ tax. I don't buy it. --- Wait, does he mean that money itself will disappear? Or that jobs will disappear? I'm a bit confused. --- Honestly, saving money is a bit outdated, but it's not completely useless, right? Anyway, I'm still stacking. --- He's starting to go off-topic again. Maybe in 10 years, things will still be the same. Don't be fooled, everyone. --- This logic doesn't quite add up. No matter how advanced AI gets, there still needs to be human society. People still need to eat, right? --- I love this kind of bold hypothesis. It sounds a bit out there, but I like it. --- So, should I go all in on crypto or all in on AI stocks now? Give me a guiding light, big bro.

Elon Musk really dares to say it, but his words are rough but not wrong... Wait, is he hinting that we should all go all-in on crypto and tech stocks? --- Here he goes again trying to persuade people not to save money. I just want to ask, how do you survive in these 20 years without savings? --- He might be right, but the premise is that you truly believe those technologies can save the world. Not everyone can afford to bet on that. --- This idea is basically saying that future money is not the same as current money, has a bit of a Web3 vibe. --- Saving money is outdated? So, what should ordinary people go all-in on? Tesla stocks? Haha. --- I just want to know if Elon Musk has ever put a penny into a traditional retirement account... --- Sounds good, but in reality, he's paving the way for inflation and asset revaluation. Those who understand, understand.
