Latest data shows that the US Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 2.7% year-on-year, exactly in line with market expectations. More notably, the core CPI (excluding food and energy fluctuations) rose by 2.6% year-on-year, slightly below the previous forecast of 2.7%.

This set of data sends an important signal: inflation, while still sticky, is showing a moderate upward trend. Especially, the slowdown in core inflation growth may ease market concerns about the Federal Reserve continuing to raise interest rates.

From a crypto market perspective, CPI data directly impacts macro liquidity expectations. When inflation pressures decrease, it suggests that monetary policy may remain relatively accommodative, which generally benefits risk assets, including cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. In the short term, the market will closely monitor the Federal Reserve's subsequent statements to further assess capital flow trends.

Core CPI falls below expectations, now the Fed has to slow down, BTC can catch a breath. Loose liquidity = funds seeking an outlet, this is the opportunity in the crypto circle.

Core CPI falls below expectations, now the Fed might have to pause, and with easing expectations, the coin prices should also react accordingly.

Core CPI falls below expectations; it seems the Federal Reserve can't hold back anymore, feeling the pace of interest rate cuts coming.
