Now, there's no doubt that the biggest trend in 2026 will be the integration of Crypto and TradFi, right?
Over the past month, there have been many examples: Coinbase promoting a comprehensive trading platform strategy, Nasdaq launching a 5*23-hour trading mechanism, a16z raising funds$15B focusing on the AI + Crypto integration track, deep integration of the Solana ecosystem and X Smart Cashtags products... and so on.
In these grand plays of Crypto and TradFi integration, I currently see only two certainties:
1) $ETH remains the undisputed "settlement layer" leader, confidently sitting at the top with its stablecoin TVL scale and RWA experiments trusted by institutions. This is the on-chain vault that Old Money trusts most;
2) $SOL , under the new "ICM infrastructure layer" positioning, leans towards a "product consumer-grade" integration route. Whether it's the PayFi payment narrative or RWA asset tokenization, Solana focuses on high-frequency, low-cost liquidity efficiency, which is also the best channel for TradFi to reach the masses.
