Happy Sci has had a very clear positioning since its inception — a long-term non-profit charitable initiative with no plans to issue tokens and no fundraising activities. The official website clearly states that the founders are investing real money, and many current PhD students have actually benefited.

Trouble arises when a token with the same name suddenly appears, and the originally purely charitable nature is forcibly dragged into the controversy over token issuance. Although the project itself does not issue tokens, does not have tokens, and does not participate in token operations, the same name causes confusion in the market. Good intentions have been hijacked.

Damn, this is outrageous. Riding on a name to create a coin? That's truly incredible.

This is truly unbelievable. A good public welfare project was ruined by the crypto circle's scamming.

ngl this is exactly how UST collapsed in my timeline—pure nonprofit vibes getting tangled up with some random token bearing the same name, correlation coefficient went from 0.2 to 0.95 overnight. statistically speaking, brand hijacking in crypto always ends with retail bleeding out. not financial advice but... the smart money already exited chat

This is a classic case of a fake impersonator framing the real one. The original project was doing well, and suddenly a same-name coin was dragged into the mess. It's really frustrating.

Having the same name really can ruin everything. I've seen this trick too many times.

This name-collision tactic is really annoying; it's supposed to be purely charitable, yet it gets falsely accused.

Oh no, this is a common blunder in crypto—too many riding on the coattails of the name.
