"Stay clear-headed in a bull market, and stay calm in a bear market." This sentence is like a brand, etched into my three-year trading journey. Today, I want to share my story with everyone.
I used to be a full-fledged "bull market enthusiast." In 2021, the market was booming, and with my boldness and good luck, my account balance soared. At that time, I thought I was a genius, forgetting about the risks, my mind filled with "the stars and the sea." The "awareness" during the bull market was a lesson I learned by giving back huge profits—I realized that being cautious during the celebration and taking profits when earning are more important than chasing profits themselves.
Real transformation happens in a bear market. When the noise fades away, accounts shrink, and fear and anxiety become the main melody. But I am grateful for that time, as it forced me to transition from a "speculator" to a "learner." I began systematically reading white papers, understanding economic models, and here, in the square, I read a lot of quality analytical articles. The "calm" in a bear market is about settling down to do your homework, planning your future deliberately when others are fearful.
This road is very lonely, but because there is a community that grows together, we can warm each other, share insights, and traverse the bull and bear markets together.
