My trading growth story

Since entering the crypto world in 2020, my greatest gain is not profit, but the knowledge gained through blood and tears.

When I first entered the bull market, I was quite pleased with myself for doubling my investments in altcoins in just one day, lost in the illusion of being a "stock god." However, when the bear market hit in 2022, I not only gave back all my profits but also saw my principal cut in half. The most painful moment was watching my account shrink in the middle of the night, feeling powerless.

It is this lesson that awakened me. I began to establish trading discipline: taking profits in batches during a bull market, not being greedy for the last penny; implementing dollar-cost averaging during a bear market, not fearing market panic. More importantly, I learned position management, never allowing myself to be in a "gamble it all" situation.

Now, I no longer chase the myth of hundredfold returns, but pursue stable compound interest. Thanks to the Gate community for being with me all the way, allowing me to understand that true growth is the maturity of mindset—restraining greed in a bull market and maintaining patience in a bear market. This journey is still long, but walking alongside my family makes each step more solid.
