I have always been curious about one question: Is the funding amount for VC investment projects really that high?
This data, apart from being disclosed by the project party and VC, cannot be verified by any third party, and there are no proof documents visible on the official websites of major VCs. In other words, no outsiders can see the investment contract.
"You say thirty million, so it's thirty million?"
If, I mean if, a project actually raises 2 million, but promotes it as 20 million, the valuation will reach 200 million. This is not without motive; VCs exaggerate valuations to reap greater profits, while the project party gains a more "substantial" capital endorsement.
Is there anyone knowledgeable? Isn't web3 about Don't trust, Verify?
