OpenClaw maintainer Onur Solmaz announced that the platform will now support both the ACP and Codex App Server protocols simultaneously, improving interoperability. Users can directly invoke programming Agents within OpenClaw to perform tasks, offering a more flexible programming experience and marking the platform's progression toward a unified multi-protocol layer.

OpenClaw founder Peter SteinBerger stated on the X platform that the team is strengthening the plugin system while maintaining a streamlined core system. A new version will be released next Sunday, supporting users to ask questions while the AI Agent is performing tasks. Additionally, the developed automatic filtering system runs every five minutes to clear spam and enhance the interaction experience.

OpenAI's Codex has recently experienced multiple instances of unresponsiveness. The engineering lead confirmed that the issue has been fixed and will reset the rate limits for all users. The Codex team typically provides compensation after outages. Currently, weekly active users reach 2 million, with a growth rate of 25%.

Product developers can generate Figma designs from Codex and implement designs from Figma files back into code.
