Iranian ambassador says new Supreme Leader Khamenei was injured in the February 28 airstrike

Gate News Report, on March 12th, local time the 11th, Iranian Ambassador to Cyprus Ali Reza Salarian stated in an interview that Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Mujtaba Khamenei, was injured in the U.S. and Israel’s airstrikes against Iran on February 28th.

Earlier, Yousuf Pezeshkian, son of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, posted on social media on the 11th that Iran’s Supreme Leader Mujtaba Khamenei is “safe.” Yousuf Pezeshkian said, “I heard that Mujtaba was injured. I asked friends who are in contact with him. They said he is safe and sound.” (CCTV News)
