U.S. stocks outperform globally, with energy independence and technological resilience as key factors

ChainCatcher reports that since the outbreak of war in the Middle East, the US stock market has turned the tide for international investors, outperforming globally this week. Traders point out that the key factors are America’s energy independence and the US dollar’s status as a safe-haven asset. Adam Hetts, Head of Multi-Asset Global at Janus Henderson, said that stocks outside the US are more sensitive to geopolitical risks and oil price fluctuations. The longer the conflict lasts, the greater the room for US stocks to continue outperforming other markets.
