Guangzhou Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, in collaboration with the Municipal Propaganda Department, Cyberspace Administration, Education Bureau, Public Security Bureau, and Market Supervision Administration, is conducting a two-month special campaign to address chaos in real estate self-media. The goal is to raise awareness of compliant operations among real estate-related self-media, reduce false advertising and malicious hype. Moving forward, relevant departments will continue to focus on the dissemination chaos in the real estate sector through three measures: “training and empowerment, positive guidance, and strict enforcement.” They will regulate self-media operations, and any violations will be recorded in the credit files of the involved organizations and individuals, with joint penalties such as industry bans. This aims to protect consumers’ legal rights and promote the stable and healthy development of our city’s real estate market.
