The first day back in the market after the holiday, the photovoltaic cell market remains quiet, with prices generally stable and no significant fluctuations. On one hand, silver prices surged sharply before the holiday and have since pulled back, easing some cost pressures; on the other hand, downstream module companies have not fully resumed procurement, mainly digesting pre-holiday inventories. New order signing is slow, and market trading is subdued. Currently, most manufacturers are adopting a “produce based on sales” strategy, with cautious resumption of production schedules. Although some integrated companies have slightly increased output supported by overseas orders, specialized cell manufacturers remain operating at low capacity, resulting in limited overall supply growth. Additionally, domestic downstream buyers are not highly receptive to prices above 0.45 yuan per watt, making high-priced transactions difficult to volume, and buyers and sellers are in a wait-and-see stance.
