On March 1, CBS released a satellite image showing the before-and-after scenes of the residence of the late Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei in Tehran, which was attacked by the U.S. and Israel on the morning of February 28. The conflict is ongoing, with the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps launching a large-scale missile and drone attack against Israel and U.S. military bases in the region. Preliminary reports indicate Jerusalem was affected. Explosions were heard in Haifa, Israel, with smoke rising. Doha, the capital of Qatar, was again hit by a missile attack from the southwest, prompting Qatar’s air defense system to intercept. The U.S. Al Udeid Air Base, located about 35 kilometers southwest of Doha, is one of the largest U.S. military bases in the Gulf region.
