MEXICO CITY, Feb 28 (Reuters) - The body of Mexican cartel boss Nemesio Oseguera, the country’s most wanted man until his death a week ago, was returned to his family, the attorney general’s office said on Saturday.
Osguera, known as “El Mencho”, was killed in a military operation in Jalisco state on Sunday. That sparked a wave of retaliatory violence by the cartel across much of Mexico, killing dozens and temporarily stranding foreign tourists in their hotels.
