After trading in the crypto space for so long, I gradually discovered a pattern — the market quality during the day and at night is completely different.

During the day, I’m basically losing money, which makes sense upon reflection. During this time, major exchanges see low participation from big players; the market is mainly retail traders competing with each other, lacking clear direction, and prone to repeated shakeouts. It’s like the big fish aren’t out hunting, and the small fish are just floundering in the shallows.

But starting from 7 PM in the evening, things change. Institutions and big traders in different time zones around the world gradually become active, liquidity clearly increases, and the market trends become more predictable. At this time, following the main players’ strategies allows you to capture some of the market’s residual gains, significantly increasing your win rate.

My own win rate statistics also confirm this — consistently profitable trades are mostly made at night. During the day, as soon as I make a move, I’m basically giving money to the market. So my current strategy is simple: rest or just watch the market during the day, and participate in the evening.

Trading during the day is just asking for death; I've figured that out long ago. 7 PM is the real main event; retail investors and institutions are completely in two different worlds. Following big funds to get some soup is a hundred times better than blindly messing around during the day.

Retail investors cut each other during the day, while big players feast at night. I'm also testing this theory... but to be honest, sometimes I can't catch it at night either.

Trading during the day is purely cannon fodder, I agree with that. But to be honest, you can't always guarantee to make a profit at night either; it mainly depends on individual skill.

Daytime is just a chaos of retail investors getting chopped, I’ve been cut several times before I understood this principle. The real market is at night, the time when the big players are eating. Honestly, trading during the day is like a suicide operation; institutions haven't woken up yet. I’ve also been using this time strategy, and it has indeed significantly improved the win rate. But it also depends on the coin; some small-cap coins don’t have much liquidity at night either.

Trading during the day is pure suicide. I only realized it after being washed out to the point of numbness.
