Once seen as a hopeful step toward standardizing the crypto market, the (CLARITY Act) has recently encountered a dramatic turn.

Originally scheduled for review and voting by the Senate Banking Committee on January 15, the bill was suddenly halted in an emergency. The current official expectation is to postpone it until the end of January, but honestly, no one can guarantee this timeline. This is the most comprehensive crypto market legislation in the United States in nearly a decade, and this delay means the entire process has once again fallen into uncertainty.

The key turning point occurred on January 14. A CEO of a major exchange bluntly stated on social media: "The current version of CLARITY is worse than having no bill at all." This is not just a rant— the pace of the Senate's progress has noticeably slowed down.

But the underlying issues are much deeper than the surface conflict. CLARITY has evolved from a simple "crypto vs. regulation" opposition into a genuine internal debate within the crypto industry. This delay, frankly, exposes internal disagreements within the industry.

In terms of legislative progress, CLARITY is not "dead," but the word "smooth" is certainly not applicable. The struggle surrounding this bill is only beginning to become more complex.

Here we go again? Exchanges fighting each other, and in the end, it's still us retail investors who pay the price. When will the internal conflicts in the industry ever settle down? This is the current state of Web3. CLARITY's failure was expected; I've seen through these capital tricks a long time ago. Laughing to death, even the most systematic draft can't withstand a few sarcastic comments. Policies are just toys. Promised to be standardized, but it all turned into internal strife. Truly classic.

It's the same old trick again, the big players are fighting each other, and we, the retail investors, suffer. Internal industry conflicts are even worse than clashing with regulators, really. CLARITY isn't dead, but it can't survive either; this is the current state of the crypto world. Wait, is this CEO trying to get a yellow card or just looking for more benefits? Bill延期=industry consensus hasn't been unified yet, everyone is doing their own thing.

又是这套路,法案一延期市场就要跌三天 行业内讧,参议院看戏,咱们散户被夹在中间割 一月底?我赌五块钱又得改时间

It's the same old trick, promising standardization, but it still ends up being internal conflicts.

Another palace intrigue drama is unfolding, each exchange has its own little schemes. Internal industry conflicts are always more intense than regulation, hilarious. Postponed until the end of the month? I bet it will be delayed again. This bill is a hot potato; everyone wants it but is afraid of getting burned. The path to compliance has never been straightforward, and exchanges are starting to sabotage each other again. The feeling of being neither dead nor alive is the hardest to endure.

It's the same old story... Major exchanges fighting each other, with regulatory agencies watching coldly from the sidelines. In the end, retail investors are the ones who suffer. Internal industry conflicts are more deadly than external enemies. Now it's all ruined what once had potential. Really, without a unified voice, don't expect to pass legislation. Right now, everyone is blowing their own horns, and the Senate might as well just sit back and watch the fight. I feel like this will cool off sooner or later. No one should expect to succeed until the利益分配 (profit distribution) is sorted out. That's why I believe in the decentralization of L1 power; centralized decision-making can never handle so many factions. CLARITY has turned into CHAOS, and延期 (delays) are just a polite way of saying no. But maybe that's for the best—bad bills are better than no bills at all. Instead of being trapped, it's better to stick with the status quo and muddle through... Hey, maybe we should just see who survives this round of internal fighting. The chosen coin?
