Looking at projects like $hype, the token ecosystem is like a complete business system. But where is the problem?
Most token holders do not actually use the applications and services within the ecosystem—just like they don't support those shops. Instead, they focus entirely on hoarding tokens themselves.
What’s the result? The people with more tokens continue to buy more tokens. Creating a self-perpetuating cycle. And the actual applications that need to be used and supported? They are ignored.
This is the dilemma faced by many project ecosystems: capital continuously concentrates into tokens, but it does not flow into the businesses that can truly build the ecosystem. Without a thriving ecosystem, the value of holding tokens cannot be truly realized.
