#美国消费者物价指数发布在即 Recently, the US regulatory circle has been quite lively—The Clear Act just passed the Senate Banking Committee, which means a major reshuffle in cryptocurrency regulation is on the horizon.

In simple terms, there are three core changes:

**Reallocation of Power**
The primary regulatory authority for the spot market shifts from the SEC to the CFTC. $BTC, $ETH, and other mainstream coins are officially classified as "digital commodities," freeing them from securities regulations. This provides a long-awaited answer to a persistent industry concern.

**Legal Boundaries Finally Clarified**
The previous ambiguous state of "whether it’s a security or a commodity" will come to an end. The bill clearly categorizes digital assets into two types, offering the clearest legal definitions the market has seen in years. This certainty is especially crucial for institutional investors.

**Traditional Finance Gets Involved**
Banks, funds, and other institutions now have a compliant pathway to enter the market, and platform tokens like $BNB will also benefit indirectly. It’s foreseeable that more mainstream capital will accelerate its entry.

Next, the bill still needs to be reviewed by the full Senate, and ultimately, it requires the President’s signature to become law. Once enacted, the legal status of assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum will be firmly established, and the long-standing regulatory uncertainty will be resolved. The dawn of a new era for the industry is beginning.

This wave of the Clear Act has really been awaited for too long. The SEC's set of shackles is finally about to be loosened, and BTC and ETH are directly upgraded to "commodity" status. It feels like the entire track is catching its breath.
