#空投活动与分配 Seeing the news about Lighter cracking down on witch accounts, some friends are asking me what I think. Honestly, this incident reflects a topic I've always wanted to discuss with everyone—maintaining the right mindset when participating in any airdrop activity.

Airdrops are essentially marketing tools used by project teams; participating reasonably is fine, but never treat them as your main source of income. I've seen too many people register multiple accounts and operate frequently just to earn more points, only to be flagged as suspicious accounts. Not only is this futile, but it can also harm the reputation of your genuine accounts.

Lighter is using data science and clustering methods to identify such accounts. Although the specific algorithms are not disclosed, this shows that the project team is serious. Having an appeal mechanism is also important—if you believe you've been wrongly flagged, you should use official channels to contest it. Compared to gambling on luck, this approach offers better security.

My advice is: when participating in airdrops, stick to the principle of one account per person, keep your transaction behavior genuine and natural, and don't deliberately chase "maximized returns." In the long run, honest participation and steady allocation will yield more solid gains. Airdrops are just an extra treat, not the main course. Keep a balanced mindset, and you'll harvest more in the end.
