In the futures market, traders who can survive boil down to two words: restraint.

When others panic and make reckless moves, you stay calm and steady. While everyone is chasing gains and cutting losses, you remain composed. When volatility hits and operations become dizzying, they won't save you; what truly saves you is knowing how to control yourself.

First, let's talk about loss control. Never lose more than 7% of your account in a single trade—that's the baseline and the guarantee to keep playing. Many people fall here, always thinking they can turn it around, but one big liquidation and it's all gone. Missing a trade isn't scary, but missing a stop-loss is truly disastrous.

Next, be patient with profits. Once the market direction is confirmed, don't rush to lock in profits and exit. Let the money keep flowing in; short-term greed often destroys your entire strategy. Enforce strict stop-losses, and let your profits continue to run.

There are no gods in the futures market; everyone who gets liquidated shares one common trait: they can't control themselves. Opportunities are always reserved for those who understand restraint and dare to decisively cut losses. Steady profits can truly be achieved.

That's right, the 7% stop-loss line is the line between life and death. I've seen too many people die because of greed, only to regret it after liquidation.

That's right, you just need to control your hand. Look at those forced liquidations, all because of greed with no bottom line.

That's true, but how many people can actually do it... Most people forget after reading, and when the next market comes, they still go all-in as usual.

You're absolutely right. Restraint is truly the key. I've seen too many people lose everything after just one reckless move.

The logic is simple but sound: I really stuck to the 7% stop-loss line. I'm much more clear-headed than those who dream of turning things around with a single gamble.
