Krishnan has served in the Trump administration since January 2025, working closely with AI and crypto czar David Sacks. After his departure and a brief hiatus, he plans to establish a new policy and technology institution to recruit engineers supporting U.S. government and allied AI initiatives in energy, data centers, and broader policy areas.
During his tenure, Krishnan helped advance key Trump administration AI initiatives, including designing the American AI Action Plan, promoting the AI Accelerated Partnership to boost U.S. AI competitiveness, and drafting a recent presidential executive order on national AI policy framework. He also advocated for American AI technology at AI summits in France and India.
