US Vice President JD Vance Comments on 18-Year-Old Henry Nowak's Death, Criticizes European Immigration Policies

According to JD Vance's statement on X today, the US vice president weighed in on the death of 18-year-old student Henry Nowak, who was fatally stabbed by Vickrum Digwa in Southampton on December 3, 2025. Vance stated that Nowak "died the same way a civilization dies: abandoned, handcuffed by authorities," criticizing European elites for not "standing their ground against the politics of self-hatred and the mass invasion of migrants." Bodycam footage revealed that police handcuffed Nowak despite his repeated pleas that he had been stabbed, including after suffering fatal injuries to his heart. Digwa was sentenced for murder on June 1.
