According to CCTV, U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin reaffirmed on June 7 that the temporary ceasefire with Iran remains in effect, despite recent mutual strikes between the two countries. Austin said the U.S. is pushing toward a peace agreement with Tehran.
