U.S. and Iran Sign Memorandum of Understanding on June 17, Opening 60-Day Negotiation Window

According to Jin10, the U.S. and Iran signed a memorandum of understanding on June 17, which is now in effect. Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Baghaei stated that negotiations on nuclear and sanctions issues will commence over the next 60 days. The agreement includes Iran's reiteration that it will not acquire or develop nuclear weapons, and both sides agreed to dilute Iran's enriched uranium on-site under International Atomic Energy Agency supervision.
