UN Seeks to Resume Evacuation of 115+ Vessels, 2,500 Stranded Sailors from Strait of Hormuz

According to International Maritime Organization Secretary-General Arsenio Dominguez, the UN is working with countries to resume evacuation operations in the Strait of Hormuz on Friday, following the suspension of the operation earlier this week after vessels came under attack. Prior to the pause, approximately 115 vessels and 2,500 stranded seafarers have successfully transited the strait.
