UK Gilt Yields Fall Sharply on Thursday, 10-Year Drops 3.3bp to 4.898%

On Thursday (June 4), UK gilt yields declined broadly during European afternoon trading. The 10-year gilt yield fell 3.3 basis points to 4.898%, marking a decline throughout the day, with a notable sell-off beginning at 19:00 Beijing time and hitting a daily low of 4.881% at 20:08.

The 2-year gilt yield fell 3.9 basis points to 4.333%, also touching a daily low of 4.317% at 20:08. The 30-year and 50-year gilt yields each fell 3.3 basis points.
