According to UAE media, on May 14, UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism Ben Tuk inspected Dubai’s gold market to assess merchant compliance with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CFT) and counter-proliferation financing (CPF) regulations. The minister emphasized that the UAE has made significant progress in establishing a comprehensive gold trade legislation and regulatory framework.
