Two 7.0+ Magnitude Earthquakes Strike Western Venezuela on June 24

According to Jin10 Data, two earthquakes with magnitude 7.0 or above struck northern Venezuela on the evening of June 24 (early morning Beijing time on June 25). The epicenter was located approximately 160 kilometers west of the capital Caracas with a depth of 10 kilometers. Multiple buildings in Caracas sustained damage. The U.S. Geological Survey warned that the earthquakes could result in "widespread fatalities and extensive destruction." The exact casualty figures remain unclear.
