TSMC Q2 Revenue Hits $40.2B, HPC Drives 66% of Business as Gross Margin Expands to 67.7%

According to TSMC's Q2 2026 earnings report, the chipmaker posted revenue of $40.2 billion, at the upper end of guidance. High-performance computing (HPC) revenues increased 20% sequentially and accounted for 66% of total revenue, cementing its position as the primary growth driver.

Gross margin expanded 150 basis points to 67.7%, driven by cost improvements and higher utilization rates. Advanced process nodes below 7 nanometers contributed 77% of wafer revenue, with 5-nanometer and 3-nanometer processes accounting for 33% and 30% respectively.
