According to PANews, on May 29, U.S. President Trump announced he is heading to the White House Situation Room to make a final decision regarding Iran nuclear arrangements. Trump stated that Iran must commit to never acquiring nuclear weapons and immediately open the Strait of Hormuz with unrestricted transit rights. He disclosed that the U.S. and Iran have reached partial consensus on demining the Strait of Hormuz, lifting naval blockades, and addressing Iranian underground nuclear materials. The U.S. will cooperate with Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency to destroy the enriched nuclear materials, with Trump emphasizing no funds will be exchanged pending further notice.
