Standard Chartered Sets ETH Price Targets of $4,000 by End of 2026 and $40,000 by 2030

ETH-4.5%
BTC-3.1%
According to The Block, Standard Chartered released its Ethereum price targets on May 28, maintaining forecasts of $4,000 by end of 2026 and $40,000 by end of 2030. The bank noted that recent ETH price declines do not reflect improving on-chain fundamentals, comparing the asset's current position to Amazon during the 2001 tech bubble aftermath. The bank also expects the ETH/BTC ratio to recover to approximately 0.08 by decade's end, citing Ethereum's dominance in stablecoins and real-world asset (RWA) tokenization. Standard Chartered projects both stablecoin and non-stablecoin RWA markets could reach approximately $2 trillion by 2028, potentially driving new highs in Ethereum transaction volume and total value locked.
