SpaceX Unlocks $109.2 Billion in Employee Stock After First Earnings on August 4

According to SpaceX, on August 4 (after market close), the company will release Q2 2026 earnings and hold an earnings call at 4:30 p.m. ET—marking its first earnings report since completing a $75 billion IPO on June 12.

Two trading days after the earnings release, SpaceX will unlock the first tranche of employee and insider shareholdings, releasing approximately 911.5 million shares, valued at roughly $109.2 billion at the current stock price of $119.85. The company will then enter a rolling unlock phase starting in late August, releasing roughly 7% of eligible shares every 15 to 20 days until year-end. Founder Elon Musk and other senior executives remain subject to a full one-year lockup expiring June 12, 2027.
