According to sources and Bloomberg, SpaceX has begun refusing Falcon 9 exclusive commercial launch orders for 2028 and beyond, while suspending new bookings for its Falcon 9 Rideshare program to accelerate the transition to Starship.

The company has also halted production of certain non-reusable Falcon series components, though it expects to continue using Falcon 9 for U.S. Department of Defense and NASA missions. Sources noted that plans could be adjusted if Starship development progress falls short of expectations.
