SpaceX Soars 19% on Debut, Closes at $161.11 with $2.1T Valuation

According to Verdict Capital founder Michael Fertik cited by CNBC, SpaceX debuted on Friday, June 12, opening at $150 per share and closing at $161.11, up 19.34% from the $135 IPO price. The company achieved a market capitalization of $2.1 trillion, becoming the sixth-largest U.S. listed company, with single-day trading volume exceeding 500 million shares.

Fertik believes the successful IPO could trigger a new IPO "super cycle," prompting long-held private technology unicorns including OpenAI and Anthropic to accelerate their path to public markets.
