South Korea Ruled Out Easing Crypto Asset Regulations After Internal Review in June

According to Edaily, South Korea's Financial Services Commission, Ministry of Strategy and Finance, and Bank of Korea ruled out immediately easing crypto asset regulations after an internal review. The regulators stated that the current policy stance has not shifted toward deregulation, and some industry proposals cannot be implemented without changing existing laws. The review followed a June 8 meeting between the Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Administration and industry representatives.
