SoftBank Group Plans to Issue ¥260 Billion 35-Year Hybrid Bonds

According to its announcement on May 25, SoftBank Group plans to issue 260 billion yen in unsecured subordinated hybrid bonds with a 35-year maturity and an annual coupon rate of 4.80% to 5.60% for the first five years, after which it will convert to floating. The subscription period is set for June 8-18, 2026, with official issuance on June 19. The proceeds will primarily be used to refinance dollar-denominated hybrid bonds maturing in 2027.
