According to Bloomberg, on May 11, Prosus sold a 5% stake in Germany’s Delivery Hero to Hong Kong-based Aspex Management for 335 million euros (US$394 million). The Amsterdam-listed tech investor is reducing its holding to meet European Commission commitments tied to its acquisition of Just Eat Takeaway.com. Prosus priced the shares at 22 euros (US$26) each, 22% above Delivery Hero’s 30-day volume-weighted average price.
The transaction follows Prosus’s earlier 4.5% stake sale to Uber and would leave Prosus with approximately 17% of Delivery Hero, while Aspex’s holding would increase to about 14%.
