Peter Schiff Challenges Cardone's Bitcoin-Real Estate Hybrid Model, Proposes Public Debate

Peter Schiff, chief economist of EuroPac Capital, challenged real estate investor Grant Cardone's strategy of pairing Bitcoin holdings with income-producing properties on Sunday, arguing the approach solves nothing. Cardone announced his firm has completed six hybrid deals totaling $1 billion, including roughly $200 million in Bitcoin purchases, with one 366-unit apartment project offering three Bitcoin exposure per unit. Schiff disputed the necessity of adding Bitcoin to balance sheets, asserting rental income alone suffices for maintenance costs. He offered to debate Cardone publicly, stating, "Combining real estate with Bitcoin solves nothing. Real estate throws off rental income to cover repairs and maintenance."
