PBOC Issues 30 Billion Yuan in Central Bank Bills via Hong Kong CMU on May 22

According to Jin10, China's central bank issued 30 billion yuan in central bank bills via Hong Kong's debt instrument clearing system (CMU) on May 22. The first tranche, worth 15 billion yuan, has a 3-month maturity with a settlement date of May 29, 2026, and maturity on August 28, 2026. The second tranche, also 15 billion yuan, has a 1-year maturity, settling May 29, 2026, and maturing May 29, 2027. Both tranches are fixed-rate bonds issued through Dutch auction.
