OpenRouter Completes $113M Series B Led by Google's CapitalG, Processing 25 Trillion Tokens Weekly

According to Beating, OpenRouter announced completion of a $113 million Series B funding round led by Alphabet's growth fund CapitalG, with participation from NVentures, ServiceNow Ventures, MongoDB Ventures, Snowflake Ventures, Databricks Ventures, and follow-on investment from a16z and Menlo Ventures.

The AI model routing platform processes 25 trillion tokens weekly, up 5-fold from 5 trillion tokens six months prior. The platform serves over 8 million global users and enables enterprises to access over 400 models from providers including Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, xAI, and DeepSeek through a single API. The company plans to use new funding to expand routing, governance, and optimization capabilities.
