According to Jin10, NVIDIA Spectrum-X silicon photonics Ethernet technology entered full mass production on June 2. The next-generation Spectrum-X switches, built on chiplet photonics integration (CPO) technology, enable horizontal and cross-region AI factory scaling on the NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform.

Compared to networks using traditional transceivers, Spectrum-X delivers 5x better energy efficiency, 5x longer AI uptime, and 1.3x faster deployment time.
